Let's set up your receptionist
Free for 7 days. From $49/mo after. No card needed to start building.
You'll add a card at the very last step. Nothing is built until the card is on file, and nothing is charged for 7 days.
No Pretending, Ever.
Picked up where you left off.
Restricted mode — here's exactly what that means.
You told us your business provides a health service, so your receptionist runs with tighter limits than an ordinary one. This is what the code enforces — nothing more, nothing less.
What she won't do
- She won't discuss symptoms, conditions, diagnoses, medications, test results or treatments — not even to repeat back what a caller says.
- If a caller starts describing what's wrong, she lets them finish, then says kindly that she's not the right person for the clinical side and gets them to the practice.
- A clinical message is written down only as "would like a call back about a health matter" plus their name — never the detail.
- She gives no health advice of any kind — not even "that can wait".
What still works
Appointments, hours, location, parking, fees, cancellations and rescheduling — ordinary reception, done normally.
What's different behind the scenes
- Calls are not voice-recorded and no transcript or call summary is stored: no audio is kept at our voice provider, and our call log keeps only the time, length, outcome and the caller's number — plus any message she takes for you, written the way described above.
- Anyone who sounds like they're in trouble is told to hang up and ring 000, she ends the call so their line is free, and you're texted at once with the caller's number and what they said. This is a restricted-mode rule — an ordinary Giday receptionist is not given it.
- The short recorded notice still plays before she answers on every call. It can't be switched off, because it is how consent to record is obtained under Australian state law.
