GIDAYVirtual Reception

Hear it answer before you buy anything

Ring (02) 7501 0101. That's Giday's own phone line, and the product answers it — her name on our line is Verity. No signup, no form, no demo to book. You'll know inside a minute whether you'd be happy for it to answer yours.

What you'll hear

The line is answered the way a client's line is: a greeting in the business name, on a recorded line, then "How can I help you?". Verity is answering as Giday's receptionist, so she can tell you about plans and how it works, take a message, or book you a call with a human.

The call is recorded, and she says so in the greeting. That notice is inside the greeting on every Giday line and can't be switched off — by us or by a client.

Things worth trying

  • Ask if she's a real person. She'll tell you straight away that she isn't. Giday never pretends to be a person, on any line.
  • Interrupt her. Talk over the top, change your mind halfway through, give your number in an odd order. That's what your callers will do.
  • Ask something she can't answer. The useful test of a receptionist is what it does when it doesn't know — it should take a message rather than make something up.
  • Ask to speak to a human. She'll take a message or book you a call back.

Rather type than ring?

On a desktop, the homepage opens a live text chat with the same receptionist — same brain, text instead of voice. On a phone it rings the line instead.

What yours would be like

Yours answers in your business name with the greeting you choose, books into your calendar, and texts you what happened. You pick its name and voice. Plans run from $49 a month, AUD with GST included, and the first week is free: sixty minutes of call time, card up front, nothing charged, and the clock doesn't start until your receptionist answers its first call.

The detail is on the AI receptionist page and the pricing page; what it connects to is on the integrations page.

Straight answers

Do I need to sign up to hear it?
No. Ring (02) 7501 0101. It's Giday's own line and the product answers it.
Is the call recorded?
Yes, and the greeting says so. Every Giday call opens on a recorded line.
Will it pretend to be a person?
No. Ask and it tells you straight away that it's a virtual receptionist.
What does the call cost?
It's an ordinary Sydney landline number, so it costs whatever your phone plan charges for a standard Australian call.
Can I try it on my own number?
Yes. The first week is free: sixty minutes of call time, and the clock starts at the first call your receptionist answers.
