- Tell it about your business. Your trade and main services, and the things callers ask. Type them in, or let it read your website and fix anything that's wrong. It only ever says what you've taught it; anything else, it takes as a message rather than guessing.
- Give it a name and a voice. Hear your real greeting, in your business's name, in each voice before you choose. Every greeting tells callers the line is recorded; that can't be switched off.
- Try it before you add a card. Ask it what a caller would ask, in a text chat. Nothing is booked and nothing is sent.
- Tell it how you work. Your business hours, what to do after hours, and the number urgent calls are put through to. That number can't be the one you divert to Giday, or a call put through there just comes back to your receptionist: we recommend a second number on an eSIM, two numbers on your own phone.
- Tick what you need it to do. There's no plan to pick: what you tick sets the plan your free week runs on, and you see it before the card page.
- Add a card. It goes on file as a safety gate and builds your receptionist. Nothing is charged, and no plan is started.
How Giday works
Set it up yourself in one sitting, try it before you add a card, then divert your own number to it. Here's every step, and what happens on a call. From $19 a month, and your free week starts at the first answered call.
